Office Building
Onley, Maryland
The principals of this firm were key personnel in the design and
preparation of construction documents for this three story office
building with ground floor parking and two floors of office above.
The building required a design that would fit into a narrow lot,
off a busy commuter street. The building needed to reflect the historic
district of the city, while still displaying a modern silhouette.
The designers created a distinctive clock tower that would attract
notice form the main street and was reminiscent of city office buildings
from a century ago. The tower contained the main entrance, a distinctive
two story lobby, stairs and elevator. Their use of glass gave the
offices an open and light environment.
