Aravanis Office Building

The principals of this firm were key personnel in the design and preparation of construction documents for this small real estate office, located close to a historic district in Kensington, Maryland. The owners requested that the existing structure be retained, and that the new addition reflect the residential feel of the neighborhood. The office design accommodated all ADA regulations. The design needed to resolve a complex set of demands issued by the owner, the city and Park and Planning Board. The resulting colonial facade satisfied all three parties, allowing the maximum utilization of the original building, while creating an attractive and inviting environment from which to conduct real estate business.
