Jay Davies is the firm's president. He
has practiced architecture as a principal (or a company officer)
for 23 years. This was typically with commercial projects
such as schools, office buildings, mercantile, health care,
and various government projects. As well, Jay has special
interest in residential projects of private homes, public
housing, and senior/assisted living. He has added about 10
years of Construction Management and Value Engineering expertise
to this business operation. Jay has been published in national
and local magazines (such as "Better Homes and Gardens"),
The Washington Post, and HG (Home and Garden) TV for his
quality residential design. His broad education and training
granted him the NCARB certification which enables him to
be nationally recognized for obtaining licenses in other
states. His local Montgomery County certification has him
listed on the approved inspection engineer list at the DEP
code and regulations department. Mr. Davies brings a very
broad experience level to GDS + Inc. with his recognized
design talents and his personal interest in hands-on construction.
He is in charge of the overall office production as well
as the business aspects of this company.

TAD GRODZKI

Tad Grodzki is the firm's principal designer.
He has practiced architecture and planning for over twenty-seven
years. He has designed and managed projects for private and
public industry, including the design of residential homes,
retail stores, office buildings, shopping malls, country clubs,
schools, government buildings, and industrial plants. He has
also been principal planner for several U.S. embassies around
the world.
Mr. Grodzki combines his design skills with his practical
knowledge of planning principles, construction practices and
zoning regulations. He offers every client a full design package
that meets the client's building needs. His experience in
planning, design and management of both large and small projects
allows him to offer both creative solutions, and attention
to detail, the hallmarks of the architectural design.

Ali Sohrab has over eighteen years of experience in managing
a wide variety of project types, including commercial, government,
educational, residential, office buildings, high-rise structures,
hospital and hotel facilities. Mr. Sohrab brings to the firm
a broad knowledge of the planning, design and management of
commercial multi-million dollar projects. He also brings his
attention to detail in the construction management of commercial
and residential projects. Mr. Sohrab's
expertise assures our clients that the necessary support documents
are met to the highest specifications.
